Food Bank for Monterey County
After the old facility was lost, due to arson, the Food Bank was lacking a clean, safe area to collect and store goods for community distribution. Additionally, they had been looking to expand their programs and reach and desired a facility that would be able to consolidate all of their needs into one location.
With our experience in both commercial and ag-industrial projects, specifically food processing, we were able to develop a brand new 67,000 sf faciltiy to house their administration offices, a demonstration kitchen for educational classes, cold food storage, dry warehouse food storage and truck dock facilities for transportation coordination.
A new identity for the Food Bank of Monterey County and a satisfied client. They now have the room to grow their cause because the facility provides the space for effective community outreach programs, food storage and facilitation.
